Let me preface this by saying I am really bad at pulling into the garage. Roger has tried to help by putting things on the ground so I'll know when to stop-nothing seems to help. I am always running over or into something. I know I have pulled in too far when I knock the 12 pack pop stack over-or if I don't knock them completely over the boxes are wedged under my bumper. It also doesn't help that I am parking the BMW on the opposite side of the garage from where I park the suburban, so can you see why I am confused? OK, now you are thinking what has this got to do with the pictures posted above...I am getting there. So, today when I pulled in I kind of pulled right in the center because I knew I was going to be leaving again in just a minute. I didn't notice that the outlet and light switch covers that I had painted (for the Laundry room-hence the pictures) were laying on newspaper right where I pulled in......I thought I heard something like a crunch, but it wasn't until I walked around the car that I noticed I ran over them...oops! Now I need to replace a couple before Roger gets home or I'll get the garage/parking lecture again, complete with the roll of the eyes and the sigh, "not again." Where do I go to buy outlet covers? Are they all the same? Home Depot? Dang...and double dang!
Now for the pictures, check out the laundry room walls (the walls go along with the light switch/outlet cover story).....ok so they look a little light on one end, but I think that is just because of the flash and where I was standing, they don't really look like that. It turned out really good. Griff ask why I needed to make the laundry room walls look so nice, "No one ever goes in there." Ummm..excuse me I happen to spend A LOT of time in there! Now we need to shop for cabinets and get everything moved back in.
While I am at my ramblings....I have been reading a little of my book today, it is making me a bit crazy about the things I eat. The fam really doesn't like it when I read books like this....anyhow, can I tell you a word that kind of bothers me, I don't know why, it just seems to rub me the wrong way, especially when I have to read it 16 times on one page.....Uric Acid. (wow, did you see how many commas I had in that sentence, talk about a run on...) What the heck...why does it have to be mentioned 16 times on the same page?

Uric acid sounds nasty. But your laundry room looks fab.
