Elder Hendrickson

The best Christmas present for our family was talking to Riley! He had emailed us the phone number to call on Christmas, so we were looking forward to the call, then he surprised us and called on Christmas Eve. Ry wanted to check the number he'd given us, so we called him right back and talked for maybe 30 minutes. It was 7:30pm our time, which was 12:30am his time....shouldn't he have been in bed? Then on Christmas we were able to have a nice long call! It was wonderful to hear his voice. We were able to conference call Terryn & Nick in and everyone else was here on speaker phone. Only one more call to go!
We got Riley's box this week with pictures and videos in it....so here are a few. I'll have to post more later. We had not seen pictures for a long time so the box was amazing. I wanted to hug the mailman when he brought the box to the door. I told him he made my day, that was all. I didn't want him to think I was crazy.

Moms do not like to see pictures like this...well this and dog bite pictures. What is Riley thinking? I have ask him repeatedly if he needs anything, shoes, socks, pants, shirts? His reply every time is No. Well, I am thinking he could use a new pair of shoes......He told us in the call he had them resoled, so I am feeling a little better about it.
